26 Sep 2011 : Season ends in defeat at Ley Hill
RRs' season culminated in a run-feast, but a century from JJ and an unbeaten 67 from Tony Rymer proved in vain as RRs seemingly impressive total of 263-5 was overtaken by Ley Hill with 4 overs in hand, albeit with just two wickets remaining.

19 Sep 2011 : Mervyn "lacks presedential credentials" blasts under-fire Jones
RRs' President Roger Jones has launched a scathing attack against Arkley counterpart Mervyn Lack after Mervyn's recent attendance at RRs matches suggested he was planning a sensational takeover attempt. Mervyn was overheard saying "I want this club" at the Aldenham match, but a not-so-jolly Roger claimed that this was merely about a chocolate biscuit. Roger steamed "The clue is in his surname - Mervyn lacks the class, hairstyle, and chardonnay-drinking ability to lead a club like RRs". Roger went on to lay down an intriguing gauntlet: "Let this be settled at the Arkley Quiz night - win the quiz, win RRs". Upon hearing about the Quiz Night showdown, previous presidential candidate Roy Watts was already planning his bus route to get to the quiz to throw his hat into the ring as well, creating a three-way tussle for the RRs leadership. Things could turn nasty...

19 Sep 2011 : Del's Destruction only ends in Draw
RRs had their first draw of the season after a superb all-round performance from Derek Weist. After Dave Rock had hit 71 Del Boy took over, hitting a vicious 38 in RRs total of 201-6 before taking 4-14 as Little Berkhamstead finished on 186-5.

13 Sep 2011 : Rowlands Rampage not enough for Reporters
Tom Rowlands starred with both bat and ball but couldn't stop RRs falling to their fourth consecutive defeat in the final over. Tom's 46 was the top score in RRs' 157-9, whilst his three wickets during two fiery spells of bowling restricted Aldenham's scoring rate but couldn't stop Aldenham reaching their target with 5 balls remaining.

05 Sep 2011 : OEs pitch "perfectly playable" says C*nterbury groundsman
RRs match at OEs was abandoned without a ball being bowled, before being visited by Kent's head groundsman. "Kent would have played on that" he said, "weeds growing on the surface, puddles two feet deep on a length, that's a better looking pitch than any i've prepared this season. We try to cheat in a variety of ways down at C*nterbury... Refusing to believe that catches have been taken cleanly, taking our own catches over the boundary, and when that fails we just prepare pitches that look like ploughed fields. And yet we're still the second worst team in the country, we're not even very good at cheating!"

03 Sep 2011 : ARKLEY QUIZ NIGHT
