Match report RRs returned to Cockfosters for the 26th Cricket Week match between the sides.
As is customary, Fosters batted first and a bizarre series of dropped catches allowed Fosters to reach 156-3 1 over before lunch, before JJ took two wickets in as many balls to haul RRs back into contention. Two wickets from Jake Pike after lunch made further inroads and Cockfosters generously declared on 247-8.
In reply, the third opening partnership of 150+ in as many weeks - this time between Paul Lewis (100) and JJ (69)- provided a platform for victory and despite losing 4 further wickets RRs eased home with 8 overs remaining.
