Match report Winning the toss for the first time this season, RRs opted to bat first, also for the first time this season.
Accurate bowling left RRs struggling to set a competitive total at 84-4 in the 30th over, but an unbroken stand of 118 between the aggressive Dave Rock (75 not out) and the slightly more sedate JJ (33 not out) left Chipperfield needing 203 to win.
Del Boy removed both openers but at 87-2 in the 16th over our hosts were on target. John Lewis took a wicket in his first over to swing the match RRs way and with Terry Miles picking up three scalps and some stunning catches from Mssrs Rock, Simmons and Watson Chipperfield were eventually all out for 174.
