Black Sheep v Roving Reporters Cricket Club Roving Reporters on Tue 02 Aug 2011 at 1pm
Roving Reporters Cricket Club Won by 3 wickets

Match report The third tour match, as always against our charity-supporting friends from Black Sheep, undoubtedly provided the cricketing highlight of the week and possibly the greatest finish to an RRs game in the last decade.
Black Sheep batted first and due to a combination of tight bowling and some ruthless captaincy from Del Boy the Sheep were restricted to 157-7, with Simmo, Rogie and Jake Pike all picking up two wickets.
In reply, a partnership of 87 between JJ, who made 53, and Paul Lewis (who fell suspiciously in the forties for the second time in two days), looked to have provided the base for RRs to cruise to victory with 45 needed off of the final 11 overs. A typical RRs collapse later, and 11 were needed off of the final six balls. With Jamie Holton providing athletic support at the other end, Jake hit 5 consecutive 2s, leaving just one needed off of the final ball... Jake hit that final ball straight to square leg in the air... But was dropped... And scrambled home to seal an amazing 3 wicket win!
