Belated congratulations to John "Rogie" Rogan who has reached the 300 wickets milestone for RRCC in recent weeks!
In the top 10 most prolific RR’s wicket takers of all times, Rogie's 45 mile an hour dibbly-dobblers have become a staple of RRs bowling attacks over the last 10-15 years, with his unique "trunk ball" befuddling many an opposition batsman.
Also known as the "Waltham Abbey Express", Rogie has spent thousands of pounds on club kit over the years and has also been known to switch allegiance to winning clubs in the footballing world, with a wardrobe full of Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Leicester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona shirts.
His most notorious outfit, however, came on a famous night on tour at the Old Brewery House Hotel in Reepham, Norfolk, where the "human turd" came dressed in brown corduroy trousers, brown jumper and brown shoes. "UPS John" has never lived this down.
