Roving Reporters Cricket Club

Hello all,

We hope you've had a good close-season break and look forward to seeing everybody in the first few weeks of the 2012 season.  For those of you not aware, pre-season nets have been running since January so please get in touch with Pete Jenkins if you would like to attend (Thursday evenings 8pm-9pm at University of Herts, Hatfield).

Most will be aware (and it will be confirmed in the newsletter sent out soon) that we are running a President's Day game on Tuesday 5th June (Queen's Diamond Jubilee bank holiday) at London Colney Cricket Club.  It will be an "inter-club" RRs event open to existing players and guests of RRCC, with full details to be confirmed. There will be a light lunch and BBQ in the evening so we hope for a good turnout and for friends, family members to join us all for the day.

Please can we ask all players to confirm availability for this fixture when providing early seaons availability to team secretaries David Simmons and Chris Jones.  We hope to have a good turnout and numbers/players confirmed ASAP in order to allow for smooth organisation of the day.
