I will be running in the Reading Half Marathon on March 17th. I have decided to raise funds for Centre 404, a north London charity that does some brilliant work with people with learning difficulties. I have recently been co-opted as a trustee for the Charity and have seen first hand the work that Centre 404 is doing to improve the lives of people with learing difficulties and their families. Centre 404 was featured on BBC's "Children in Need" a couple of years ago and was even honoured with a visit from JLS (some trendy new boy band, I believe...)
The Charity has been going for 60 years and, like many other charities at the moment, is having to ration its activities at a time when the income is never enough to provide all of the services that are needed.
