DAY TO REMEMBER

July 4th 2010

Barnet B's Vs RR's

With JJ winning the toss and deciding to field against the side which RR's had not played in previous seasons. Tom Rowlands and Derek Weist opened the bowling on a wicket which could only be described as a vegetable patch created an interesting first four overs, leaving Barnet to have lost 4 wickets for under 7 runs. Changing keeper from J Pike to S Wiggins allowed for the pace to be slowed down yet the wickets kept falling. Barnet where finally bowled out for 52 in 16.2 overs, with the last wicket being taken by J Pike and caught by J Rogan to claim Jakes his first ever 5 wicket hall. The target of a mer 52 seemed to suddenly become strong when Patrick Metselaar received a Golden Duck. With a strong partnership by J Rogan and T Miles the target of 53 was achieved after just 12 overs by Roving Reporters
