RR's made it two defeats from two matches over the Bank Holiday weekend, with a 6 run defeat to Knebworth Park. Bowling first, RR's took early wickets through Cheater Tom and Rogie which was then backed up by predictably metronomic bowling from Simmons senior and the precocious medium pace of Jamie. Knebworth slowly rebuilt their innings to 162 for 7 until a late Rogan blitz left Hertfordshire's most reputed medium pacer with 5-26 from 7.2 overs. In reply, RR's set about their task with relish as Scooby dashed his way to a stylish 57 not out despite the agricultural noises emanating from the RRs support. With strong support from Pete Jenkins with a brisk 29 and some brutal hitting from Cheater Tom & Jamie, RR's got close but ultimately fell a little too far behind the rate with wickets falling with regularity by the end.
