"I actually managed to complete the Reading Half Marathon on 17th March and was lucky enough to raise £1,087.50 plus £226 gift aid. Many thanks to all at RR's who helped contribute to the cause. Centre 404 is delighted with the sponsorship money raised, and will be letting me know how they intend to spend the money. (Rumours that half the money will be spent on sex and drugs, and the other half wasted are, I believe, wide of the mark). The other benefit of course is that I am a little fitter, and should be able to bowl even faster than last year.....Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you all during this new season. Derek"
