For those who where unable to attend the dinner please read below about the Big Shot Cricket Quiz I am running. I could really do with as much support as possible.
Over the recent summer months I have worked for a company called ‘Activate Sport’, which is a camp where children of all ages and abilities get the chance play and learn about the joys of sport.
These sessions took place at an Andrew Flintoff cricket academy, and during this time I was fortunate enough to meet a head coach called Paul Baker, who is a founding member of a charity called ‘Big Shot Cricket’. Paul spoke to me about the Charity and how it aims to impact on children’s lives in developing nations physically, spiritually and economically.
Instantly with my passion for charity and cricket I found myself wanting to get involved with his work and the charity.
In the first few weeks of January 2014 I have the amazing once in a life time opportunity to go to Kolkata in India to work with some underprivileged children and give them the opportunity to learn and develop life skills though cricket.
I will be holding a quiz on DECEMBER 14th in order to raise money for the charity.
