On a cold, bleak day at Chipperfield, RRs registered their first win of the season. A patient 104 from Dave Simmons and a typically belligerent 100 not out from Rocky took RRs to a big total. Hertfordshire-born skipper John Rogan and Aussie spin king Steve Watson then shared the majority of the wickets with some potent bowling, and despite a brutal 91 from Durrant lower down the order, RRs comfortably secured their maiden win of 2012.
